POWERCURE 80

Crittal Windows Ltd is a major manufacturer of commercial windows and doors for the business-to-business market.
Aluminium and steel window frames and components are powder coated in any of 50 colours in the Crittal-in-house finishing plant. The powder thickness is applied to within strict tolerances to ensure optimum prod perf., and avoidance of waste.
However, during set-up, under or over-spraying often occurs. Previously this could only be discovered after the components had passed through the oven, necessitating much re-working, wasted powder and a lot of wasted time. A.I.S. developed a hand-held heater to allow test curing to take place at the spray booth.
POWERCURE 80
The powercure 80 is compact and lightweight and yet powerful enough to spot cure in as little as three seconds. Now Crittal Windows can pre-cure a small area without stopping production, test for powder thickness and take any necessary action before the component passes through the oven.
